About the Artist

All art work has been created by Amy S. Petrik. Since 2007, she’s been a trademarked licensed artist for Carousel Checks and owns her own business called Wet ink Wisdom®. She has been a registered artist since 2008.

For the past 20 years, Amy has been catering to children nationwide who are bullied, in a Stage IV illness or has survived a suicide attempt with her whimsical art.

A few years ago, she started the Kindness Project where she selects random groups and draws/shares her writing skills with messages of hope. Amy is a former newspaper reporter and won two South Dakota Newspaper Association writing awards about Human Interests.

Send Good Vibes for Healing

Please send me your good thoughts, prayers or whatever you can send me virtually for  a successful open abdominal wall reconstruction/hernia repair surgery on Tuesday, Dec. 2020. I have an amazing surgeon and I would appreciate it very much, if you could think positive thoughts for me and for my recovery phase.

Thank you kindly, Amy

Thank You Calendar Owners

Huge thank you to everyone who purchased a 2021 Wet ink Wisdom(R) calendar. Thank you for loving my art and supporting local South Dakota artists.
Let's proceed with caution into 2021.
Peace, Amy S. Petrik

Dreams Do Come True

Final painting of 2020 and for the Kindness Project. Cansas told me she has never had a good Christmas. She is a new employee who works with me. She's extremely sweet. And she has dreams of joining the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz team. This was hand drawn by Amy Susan Petrik on 12/20/2020.

Mia Adores Cats

Meet Mia. She's 8. She loves cats, especially her cat, Pearl. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. She was also chosen by the Kindness Project for this Yuletide Season. Mia was created by Amy Susan Petrik on December 20, 2020.

Meet Adri, She Loves to Read

The Kindness Project selected Adri for several reasons but mostly because I heard her background and wanted to give her something special for this Yuletide Season. Drawn by Amy Susan Petrik on December 20, 2020.

Proceeding With Caution into 2021

My Creative Team and I (aka my mom and I) are finalizing the cost for the 2021 Desktop Calendars this year. The price for the calendar will stay the same as the last 3 years, $13.00, however, we're going to get a more accurate price for the packaging/postage tomorrow from the Post Office.

Due to not making a single profit off of the Wall Calendars, I will not be selling those. I actually lost money off of them the last several years.

I have 10 brand new paintings on this calendar and two that were made last year, but never used/seen. So essentially 12 new ones. I will let everyone know how to order, where to send the money, etc....

I am ordering only 100 (for now) and I will not be "reserving" any for anyone. Who pays first, gets first dibs on quantity. Last year, people asked for a number of calendars, then never came through to paying me.

These make perfect gifts for teenagers, coworkers, grandparents, Secret Santa gifts... etc.... Thanks for your support and loving my art, Amy
