It's a doggie kind of day!

My first attempt to draw and paint a German Shepard. I usually just draw dogs in a standard cartoon way that you make out, it's a dog. Drawn on 11/30/2016 with a black Sharpie and painted with watercolor paints on watercolor paper.

Love me some glitter!

I love to try all types of watercolor paints to add a splash of excitement to what my imagination decides to do on watercolor paper.

The top row is metallic watercolor paints while the bottom row, my favorites, glitter paint!

Awesomeness!

Resurrecting Twitter

I am becoming more involved in social media than ever before. For the past 9 years I've had multiple accounts but I've been very faithful to facebook. I joined instragram about a year or so ago. I love that site. I have had several blogs as well... and now I've have decided to bring back my twitter account back from the dead. The last time I used it was June 2008.

Here is my account info...

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving

I wanted to take a moment and thank all of my wonderfully kind supporters over the years. Without all of you, I probably would not still be using my imagination as I see fit and making magic on watercolor paper.

As for the amazingly fitting quote to the left, I am and always will be the optimist. Forever and ever. And I shall always have HOPE in my heart and will forever keep dreaming that my whimsical art will continue to touch people's lives.

Wishing you all a day filled with people you cherish most ... or at the very least, be with people who make you laugh.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving from my childhood home in Springfield, South Dakota to yours. Peace always, Amy Susan Petrik.

Hit Me Up For A Customized Painting

Here is a customized painting I did several years ago for a client who placed this order for a Christmas gift. She gave me a photo of the two I hand drew and hand painted, along with the quote and this was the end result.

All paintings are original one of a kind pieces of art by yours truly. I also spray each painting with a fixative so the watercolor paints stay true to color and they do not run if accidentally wet.

It is now up to the client to frame my watercolor paintings.

Thanks for your support. Amy Petrik

Find me on Facebook

While I know I pay for my own domain of www.wetinkwisdom.com, I am rarely on here.

You can find me on Facebook at my business page here: https://www.facebook.com/wetinkwisdom67

Or simply send me an Email at: kirtepa@gmail.com

Recently someone replied to a blog post and I did not receive the Email til the other day. So please find me on Facebook or send me an Email.

I just finished two very adorable Christmas paintings for a special client of mine. For obvious reasons, I cannot post the paintings until after the intended owners of the gifts receive them on Christmas day 2016.

Thanks for your ongoing support,
Amy S. Petrik
