Received this awesome thank you post card in the mail from the Evan Todd Benefit in Crooks, SD, that I donated many of my paintings to in early October. A kid named Cooper drew on it and signed his name.
Hunter Schapp was murdered on January 17, 2017 near Bremerton, Washington along with three other family members. The crime is still unsolved. I drew/painted this painting of him for his high school coach/teammates at North Kitsap High School in Poulsbo, Washington.
40th birthday painting surprise for Angie B. created by Amy Susan Petrik on January 24, 2017. Will be given to recipient on January 26th. And I just caught my error, I put down the year for 2016, and it needs to be 2017. Awkward.
Here's an 8"x8" hand drawn painting for 6 year old Dagen in Lawrence, Kansas. My first painting in 2017. I created this painting on January 3, 2017. All Rights Reserved.
Over the past 10 years I have met some pretty awesome children from all over the nation who are fighting for their lives in one way or the other, and in most cases, are quite ill with cancers or other illnesses/diseases. That being said, I have either met them myself or people have sent me their information and I have drawn them either has super heroes or as themselves in some fun creation. With the beginning of 2017 started, I wanted to extend the invite to continue to do what God has blessed me with. The following little boy, I have actually met in person many years ago and he currently lives in Lawrence, Kansas. He has cancer and needs our prayers. I have also made him a painting tonight. He was recently featured in his hometown, over Christmas, for getting his very own Garbage Truck. Read about him here: http://m.ljworld.com/…/elves-surprise-lawrence-boy-christm…/
And it was for a sweetie named Aubriee who is in kindergarten in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I actually, also did two other ones for her brothers, Bennett and Dante too. Each one was 12"x18" and will be going in their bedrooms.
Once upon a time, I used to create book markers that I would hand draw, hand paint, cut out and laminate. I made no profit doing these and they were painstakingly long winded to create. I no longer make these. I sold a lot but again, made no money off of them.
A mass production of me whipping out several hand drawn, hand painted whimsical art for the masses! This was all created in April 2011. I can only HOPE they all ended up in happy homes across the nation.
